Notes from the Road

Hello Devoted Fans,

As the 2024 tour continues, I find myself performing a couple of gigs every weekend. Thankfully, my diligent agent keeps me on track, though I sometimes ponder his decisions. Whilst one might expect venues to be conveniently located close to each other, he prefers the thrill of traveling far and wide, from the North one day to the South the next. Oh well!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Crowland, a quaint village near home. The warmth of the locals was delightful, and the event promoter even praised my set design. But the highlight? The aroma of sizzling bacon butties from their kitchen in the morning—pure bliss! Although, I must admit, my support act, the Vegan Candles Octet, led by Lemon Burst, managed to overpower even that delightful scent. Lemon Burst's solo performance effectively banished any lingering cooking smells. Bravo indeed!

This Weekend, I'm headed to Holbeach, another charming village venue. I relish the intimacy of such settings—it allows me to connect more closely with you, my fans. And on Sunday, I'll be visiting Ed & Gill, the wonderful promoters at the Lincoln County Assembly Rooms. It's a fantastic venue, known for its yummy cakes—a perfect way to wrap up the weekend!!
